Newsletter Policy

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30, 2003, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 101 of August 10, 2018 ("Privacy Code") and European Regulation 2016/679 ("Privacy Regulation"), MIR - Medical International Research S.p.A, C.F. and P.IVA 04564101006, headquartered in 00155 - Rome, Via del Maggiolino 125 (hereinafter, the "Owner" or the "Company") intends to inform you that, in case of your express consent (pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, lett. a) of the Privacy Regulation), your personal data will be processed to update you on all promotional and commercial initiatives, through the sending of advertising and/or promotional material, by email (the "Newsletter").

The data you provide will be processed mainly by means of paper and/or computer tools under the authority of the Data Controller, by individuals specifically Designated and instructed to the processing (pursuant to art. 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code and art. 29 of the Privacy Regulations). We inform you that appropriate security measures are also observed in accordance with Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulations to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

The data may be communicated, within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Code and the Privacy Regulation, to the following subjects: to the financial administration and/or other public authorities, where required by law or at their request; to the structures, subjects and external companies that the Data Controller uses to carry out activities related, instrumental or consequent to the execution of the Newsletter service; to external consultants (e.g., for the management of tax compliance), if not designated in writing as Data Processors. The updated list of designated Data Processors can be provided upon request by the data subject.

The data necessary to send the Newsletter will be processed until the data subject exercises the right to unsubscribe from the Newsletter by revoking the consent given.

At any time, he/she may exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation, for access, rectification, transformation, blocking, cancellation, and limitation of processing, in the manner established in Article 12 of the Privacy Regulation.

In the event that a Data Protection Officer is appointed, on the other hand, the identification data of the same will be made known through publication of the same, supplementing this notice.
